Labor & Birth

All of the evidence-based information, without bias. Establishing more trust in all that your body is capable of and in the decisions you make along the way. Our main goal is preparation while also remaining flexible, open-minded, and less fearful of all that is to come.

Topics covered generally include pregnancy anatomy, nutrition, exercise, stress management, understanding the process and stages of labor, comfort measures, medical pain relief methods, possible medical interventions, and cesarean birth.

Your Breastfeeding Journey

Mama's, our bodies are truly amazing! Not only do we carry our babies in a safe environment allowing them to develop and grow, and birth our babies into the world; we are able to provide our babies with the best possible food. Any amount of breast milk we are able to provide our babies with is beneficial. By being pregnant, your body already knows what it needs to do to prepare to feed your baby after birth. Although, I am fully aware that breastfeeding is not without it's challenges. That is where I come in – I can help prepare you for what to expect on your breastfeeding journey, to increase your chances of success once baby arrives.

Topics covered generally include breastfeeding benefits, challenges, latch, positions, frequency, hunger cues, pumping, tips and resources.

Postpartum & Beyond

Guiding you through what to expect after your baby arrives, how to navigate the first few weeks and beyond. Transitioning to motherhood is both a blessing and hard. Your body is recovering, flooded with hormones all the while you are attempting to rest and bond with your beautiful baby. Let's create a postpartum plan during those final weeks of pregnancy to best prepare you for this time. I will provide on going support, connecting you to resources as needed, through the first 3-6 months postpartum. Leaving you feeling good about your transition back to work or as a stay at home mama.
